Johns Hopkins University Cornea Faculty position at the Wilmer Eye Institute in Frederick, Maryland

Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute invites applications for a Cornea/Anterior Segment Physician at Wilmer Eye Clinic located in Frederick, Maryland.

This position will provide medical and surgical evaluation and management for corneal, cataract and external eye diseases and disorders. These include corneal dystrophies, keratoconus, endothelial keratoplasty, lamellar keratoplasty, corneal transplantion, dry eye, laster vision correction and corneal ulcers.

Frederick, Maryland is located less than one hour from Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

It is a busy, growing city surrounded by mountain views, vibrant main street communities, renowned restaurants and the historic Appalachian Trail.

The candidate will have a MD or MD/PhD with a cornea fellowship, board certification in ophthalmology and eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland. Strongest consideration will be given to those with a minimum of two years' experience in refractive surgery, preferably in an academic medicine setting.

Candidates must qualify for the rank of Assistant Professor or higher in accordance with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine criteria.
