Johns Hopkins University Research Program Coordinator in Baltimore, Maryland

We are seeking a Research Program Coordinator who will assist in managing operations of a research team across several grants and support outreach activities for a research center within the School of Nursing. This will include providing assistance to the Center Directors (CD) and Operations Manager (OM) and Research Program Manager (RPM) in their primary role of coordination for all center activities and several multi-sites federally funded and foundation-funded research projects that examine nursing staffing and work environment and aging.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Under the direction and guidance of the CD/OM/RPM,

  • Assist CD/OM/RPM and study team with center and study-related logistical activities (e.g., managing PI’s calendar, booking travel and lodging, ordering supplies as needed, submitting receipts for reimbursement, payment of open access fees, registrations, ordering and setting up catering for center events, etc.) 50%.

  • Create, monitor and update study-specific regulatory binders in accordance with federal regulations for several studies. Ensure these and other files are organized, maintained, stored, and shared with project team members, as needed and under supervision of RPM 20%.

  • Participate in regular research meetings, start/end recording and/or transcripts, take attendance as needed, and draft meeting notes. 10%.

  • Assist CD/OM/RPM with any other activities related to the research 10%.

  • Keep a google doc with meeting notes, keep track of any necessary corrections and ensures they are implemented, distribute meeting notes (after CD/OM/RPM approval) weekly or as appropriate 5%.

  • Assist CD/OM/RPM with Institutional Review Board applications and other research related activities 5%.

Technical qualifications or specialized certifications

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Google Drive and reference management tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.

  • Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Rang e: $17.00 - $30.00 HRLY ($46,488 targeted; Commensurate with experience)

Employee group: Full Time
